Our activities
The Economists League is an NGO established in 2003 in the City of Rustavi, Georgia. Its scope of work comprises, inter alia, the following directions: training, consulting, human rights protection and monitoring of the work of state structures.
The Economists League enlists 500 members(100 active members), NGO has branches in the regions of Georgia, specifically- in Batumi, Telavi,Kutaisi, Khashuri and Poti
The Economists League performs the following activities for the purpose of entrepreneurship development and the facilitation of investing activities:
1)Holding exhibitions for displaying available, potential capacities for prospective investors;
2)Consulting investors for launching business (tax environment, business environment, relationships with state agencies, business assessment);
3)Supporting investors for starting business (establishing a firm, its registration, staff selection, drafting a business plan);
4)Consulting entrepreneurs (financial, accounting, marketing);
5)Providing support during tax arguments;
6)Preparing leaflets and their publishing for promoting business (start-up, taxes, drafting a business plan, relationships with banks, tax arguments, tax calendar);
7)Carrying out marketing research;
8)Arranging trainings and consultations for tax inspection personnel on the issues of electronic declaring after introducing of which entrepreneurs will be able to access the information owned by tax inspection concerning these entrepreneurs;
9)Arranging trainings for the personnel employed in business sector;
10)Arranging trainings for farmers in business making skills and modern achievements in agriculture.
